Registered Nurse - PACU

Summary:

• Location: Children's Hospital Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus
• Duration: 13 Weeks
• Assignment Dates: 07/21/2026 10/24/2026

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
• Work 10-hour day shifts, 4 shifts per week, with rotating start times
• Float to North Campus, South Campus, AMC Periop Admit/Discharge, and perform pre-op phone calls
• Participate in weekend and holiday on-call rotations
• Adhere to the 50-mile radius rule for floating assignments

Requirements:

• BSN required
• Minimum 2 years of PACU experience
• Pediatric PACU experience must be clearly documented in work history
• Previous travel experience required
• Pediatric experience, PALS, and previous pre/post experience required

Preferred Skills:

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
