Registered Nurse - PACU

As a PACU RN at Novant Health's Rowan Medical Center you'll be trusted to deliver expert care after a range of surgeries.  From routine surgeries to complex cases, your clinical skills, judgement, and adaptability will help drive safe, compassionate care where it matters most.  This part-time weekender position offers you the perk of working 24 hours each week and earning 8 hours of incentive pay.  A weekender position offers you work/life balance while still giving you part-time benefits. 

Rowan Medical Center is Novant's 4th's largest hospital with 266 beds, serving the Rowan County area since 1936. The ORs here see a variety of cases including ortho, ENT, general, and GYN.  This is an ideal role for an experienced PACU RN looking to work within a high-performing, collaborative team.

• Education: Bachelors of Science in Nursing, preferred. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
• Experience: One year of PACU experience strongly preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.

• Receive patients from the operating room after surgery
• Airway management
• Recover patient, ensuring vital signs are within normal limits and pain is controlled
