Registered Nurse PACU at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Trophy Club:
Under the supervision of the Charge Nurse, Supervisor and Director, the nurse is responsible for implementing the nursing care plan and assimilation of the patient's hospital record. The nurse is also responsible for implementing all physician orders, providing for the continuity and quality of nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patient's condition, providing patient safety, comfort and privacy at all times. At times, assist the physicians in the procedure rooms with various tasks, conscious sedation, nerve blocks and utilizing sterile technique as deemed appropriate, and responding to emergency room as necessary.
