Under the supervision of CASA's APRN, PA, or Medical Director, the incumbent is responsible for coordinating, assessing, and implementing nursing and medical services at the Casa Hostos Residential Clinics, as well as assisting Supportive Housing Programs with medication reconciliation. This position may require participation in an on-call rotation and occasional weekend hours.
Requirements
Registered Nurse with two (2) years of experience with ambulatory detoxification and/or chemically supported treatment and current Connecticut license. Experience with Methadone Maintenance preferred.
Must be able to interact cross-culturally, have an appreciation of Latino/African American cultures.
Maintains Nursing license and CPR qualifications
Must have excellent communication both verbal and written.
Must be bilingual in Spanish.
Must be a growth oriented person willing to set and work towards professional goals.
Must demonstrate appreciation and willingness to develop continuing skills towards multicultural competency within a behavioral health setting.
Must have a valid driver's license and vehicle.
