Registered Nurse (Part-Time) (Full-Time)

Our internal medicine practice is in need of a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our staff. The successful candidate will love working with adults and have extensive experience successfully communicating with others. We’re looking for a highly professional RN who is comfortable reassuring parents and communicating with doctors as well as tending to the needs of his or her patients. Responsibilities included, but not limited to:

• Administer medications, provide vaccinations and render treatment to patients
• Communicate with physicians, staff and other medical professionals
• Collaborate with physicians to create a Plan of Care for each patient
• Create and contribute to patients’ medical records as needed
• Respond to inquiries, concerns and complaints from patients, and their care team members or guardians, as needed
• Track and maintain medical supply inventory along with other staff members
• Counsel patients and family members before, during and after treatment

Experience and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• Valid nursing license.
• 5+ years nursing experience
• Epic EMR experience, preferred
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule and to fill in when needed
• Excellent bedside manner and communication skills
• Ability to explain treatments and conditions to patients of all ages
• Working knowledge of health care laws and regulations
