    How you'll make an impact in this role

    • Coordinate patient admissions and transfers by evaluating clinical acuity and bed availability to ensure every patient is placed in the most appropriate level of care.
    • Serve as a clinical liaison between requesting physicians, specialty consultants, and nursing units, facilitating the seamless exchange of medical reports and care requirements.
    • Lead the care management intake process by initiating pre-registration and insurance verification while keeping providers informed of managed care updates and financial impacts.
    • Cultivate strategic partnerships with referral sources and internal departments to streamline the intake process and improve the ease of access for our community.

    What minimum requirements you'll need

    Licensure / Certification / Registration:

    • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart

    Association or American Red Cross accepted.

    • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job

    transfer date required. Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Florida required. Credentialed from State Board of Nursing

    or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to

    hire date or job transfer date required.

    Education:

    • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of

    hire.

    What additional preferences we''re seeking

    • Previous Pre Admissions Testing experience.
