Guaranteed Hours:8 and 10 hr. shifts - 40 hrs. in one workweek.
3, 12 hr. shifts - 36 hrs. in one workweek. 4, 12 hr. shifts - 48 hrs. in one workweek.
Special Requirements: interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, post cardiac surgery (directly or indirectly from OR), transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation/replacement (TAVI/TAVR); Arterial line management, blood production administration, central line care/management, PICC line management; titrate cardiac drips, titrate vasoactive drips. Preferred - Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath/intervention, Sheath Removal, Ventricular Assist devices (LVAD/RVAD/Impella); Care of ventilated patients, ventilator management. Previous charge experience is preferred.

Special Procedures/Unit Details: CVICU largest patient population is CV surgery and Thoracic surgery, including CABG, TAVR, SAVR, MVR, and VATS. Additional patient populations include flex acuity of MedSurg, Progressive and ICU of cardiovascular and oncology patients
