Requirements
- California Registered Nurse (CA RN) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications
- At least 2 years of experience in stepdown, PCU, ICU, or telemetry
- Experience with EPIC electronic health records
Additional Information
- Weekend rotation required
- First-time travelers are welcome
- Patient ratios: 3:1 in our PCU department
- Floating within scope to meet facility needs
- Block schedule accommodation is not available
Unit Information
Our PCU consists of 6 beds, maintaining a 3:1 patient-to-nurse ratio, and provides coverage for Medical Leave of Absence (MLOA).
