What You'll Bring:

Valid RN license and current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience in acute care settings
Strong clinical skills including titratable medication administration (e.g., Cardene, Cardizem, Insulin), chest tube management, tracheostomy care, and support with peritoneal dialysis and lumbar drains (preferred)
Ability to pass an EKG competency exam
Excellent patient assessment and critical thinking abilities
Effective communication and teamwork skills

Nice to Have Skills:

Experience with EMR systems such as Meditech Expanse
Familiarity with IV pumps (Alaris), medication dispensing (Pyxis), and invasive procedures
Ability to support stroke, cardiac, and surgical patient populations
Experience with resource staffing, charting, and equipment management

Preferred Education and Experience:

Active RN license
At least 2 years of recent acute care RN experience
Prior experience in Medical-Surgical or Stroke units (preferred)

Other Requirements:

Ability to work various shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays
Must wear appropriate scrubs (Pewter color) and badges visible above the waist
Reliable parking in designated hospital areas
Willingness to adhere to unit-specific protocols and participate in onboarding and orientation
