We Are Hiring:

Location: Austin, TX

Facility: Dell Children's Medical Center

Department/Specialty: Pediatric ED

Schedule: Nights | Full-time

What You Will Do:
  • Execute Emergency Care: Deliver rapid, evidence-based ED nursing care and critical interventions for adult and pediatric populations in strict compliance with clinical protocols.

  • Manage Care Plans & Documentation: Implement tailored emergency care plans, continuously monitoring and documenting acute status changes in fast-paced environments.

  • Lead Multidisciplinary Coordination: Serve as the primary liaison across trauma, pediatric, and specialized clinical teams to ensure seamless, well-coordinated patient care.

  • Streamline Continuum of Care: Assess acute discharge or transfer needs, coordinating with healthcare teams to facilitate safe, efficient patient transitions.

What You Will Need:

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer
    date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
Additional Preferences:

Must have ED experience; Prefer Pediatric experience
