Registered Nurse - Pediatric Emergency Room

Summary:

• Location: North Campus
• Duration: 13 Weeks
• Shift: 12H Nights, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients in the emergency room setting.
• Float to Anschutz ED if needed with proper orientation.
• Collaborate within a large interdisciplinary team.
• Ensure availability to work at least one winter holiday.
• Adapt to fast-paced environments and frequent transitions between high- and low-acuity patients.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Licensure/Certification: Registered Nurse (RN), BLS, PALS
• Minimum 2 years of Pediatric Emergency Department experience
• Minimum 1 year of Level 1 Trauma - Pediatric Emergency Department experience
• Minimum 1 year of Travel RN experience
• Experience with EPIC within the last year

Preferred Skills:

• ACLS, TNCC, ENPC certifications
• Experience in a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center or Magnet/top 10 children’s hospital
• Strong pediatric triage and trauma response skills
• Confidence working in high-pressure environments
