We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse specializing in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology to provide exceptional care in a dynamic, supportive environment. Required Skills:
- Minimum of 2+ years of nursing experience, with a strong background in pediatric Hematology/Oncology
- Current RN license in good standing (active licenses verified via NURSYS)
- BLS and PALS certifications
- Experience with hematology/oncology treatments; BMT experience preferred but not required
- Proficiency in chemotherapy administration and patient education
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams and families
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience in Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT)
- Knowledge of APHON chemotherapy protocols
- Previous use of Epic electronic health record system
- Ability to adapt quickly to fast-paced clinical environments
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher
- At least 2 years of pediatric Hem/Onc nursing experience
- Prior experience working in a hospital or specialized pediatric oncology setting
Other Requirements:
- Availability for 3x12 shifts (0700-1900), Days, with every other weekend required
- Any scrub color acceptable
- Must be nicotine-free (drug screening required)
- Must receive the flu vaccination (no exemptions accepted)
- Ability to work as part of a collaborative team in a high-stakes environment
- Willingness to undergo additional certifications and licensing reimbursements as applicable
