Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 12-Hour Nights | 6:45 PM 7:15 AM
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care in a Pediatric Oncology setting.
- Manage patient assignments with a ratio of 1:2 for Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) patients, 1:3 for Chemotherapy patients, and a maximum of 1:4 based on acuity.
- Work collaboratively in a teaching facility with cardiac and respiratory monitoring.
- Float as required to levels 6, 8, 9, 10, CPCU, NICU, North Campus, and South Campus.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years Pediatric RN experience.
- Minimum 2 years experience in Hematology/Oncology/BMT.
- Experience with ports and central line access/care required.
- Prior travel experience required.
- Certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC), APHON Chemo/Bio Certification.
Preferred Skills:
- CPHON Certification.
- BMT Certification.
- Experience in a teaching facility.
