Registered Nurse - Pediatric Oncology

Summary:

• Duration: 13 Weeks (07/21/2026 - 10/24/2026)
• Shift: 12-Hour Nights | 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
• Location: Anschutz Medical Campus

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to pediatric oncology patients in a 48-bed unit specializing in Medical Oncology, Hematology & Bone Marrow Transplant.
• Monitor cardiac and respiratory conditions.
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:2 for BMT, 1:3 for Chemo, and a maximum of 1:4 based on acuity.
• Float to Levels 6, 8, 9, 10, CPCU, NICU, North Campus, and South Campus as needed.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Pediatric RN experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Hematology/Oncology/BMT.
• Experience with ports and central line access/care.
• Prior travel experience is required.
• Certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC), APHON Chemo/Bio Certification.

Preferred Skills:

• CPHON Certification.
• BMT Certification.
• Experience working in a teaching facility.
