Registered Nurse (Pediatric Operating Room)

Summary:

• Duration: 13 Weeks
• Assignment Dates: 08/18/2026-11/21/2026
• Shift Times: 12-Hour Days | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• BLOCK: Friday, Saturday, Sunday
• 50 Mile Radius Rule: Applies

Responsibilities:

• Perform duties in the Pediatric Operating Room.
• Participate in on-call responsibilities (4-5 call shifts per 8-week schedule period).
• Adhere to departmental needs for weekend work.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Licensure/Certification:
  • Active RN license (State or Compact)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required
• Previous Operating Room experience in a Level 1 Trauma facility
• Pediatric experience required
• Must have strong Ortho, Spine & Neuro experience
• Ability to scrub is preferred

Preferred Skills:

• Willingness to float to off shifts as needed
• Flexible with rotating shifts

Additional Information:

• No RTO approved within the first two weeks of assignment
• Medical and religious exemption requests from the seasonal influenza vaccination are allowed
• Work schedule and assigned hours are based on departmental needs and may change
• Off-shifts and weekend work may be required
• Required response time for on-call duties is 30 minutes
