Registered Nurse - Pediatric Operating Room

Summary:

• Location: Childrens Hospital Colorado @ Anschutz Medical Campus
• Duration: 13 Weeks (06/09/26 - 09/12/26)
• Shift Times: 10-Hour Days | 7:00 AM 5:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care in the Pediatric Operating Room.
• Respond to on-call duties within 30 minutes as needed.
• Adhere to the 50 Mile Radius Rule.
• Potential to float or be reassigned within clinical competence and within 35 miles of the original facility.

Requirements:

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Active RN license (State or Compact).
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Previous Operating Room experience in a Level 1 Trauma facility.
• Pediatric experience required.
• Strong Spine & Neuro experience.
• Ability to scrub is preferred.

Preferred Skills:

• Willingness to float to off shifts as needed.
• Flexibility with rotating shifts.

Additional Information:

• No RTO approved within the first two weeks of assignment.
• Medical and religious exemption requests from the seasonal influenza vaccination are allowed.
• Work schedule and assigned hours are based on departmental needs and may change.
• Off-shifts and weekend work may be required.
• Possible shifts include (but are not limited to): 09002100, 11002300, 15000300, 19000700.
• Position includes on-call responsibilities depending on staffing needs.
