Description

Summary:

  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • Shift: 12-Hour Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
  • Weekend Requirement: Potentially up to every weekend
  • On-Call Requirement: None

Requirements:

  • Education: BSN
  • Licensure/Certification: Active RN license
  • New Traveler Considered: Yes
  • Minimum of one (1) year of professional nursing experience
  • Preferred experience in acute care, behavioral health, or medically complex settings
  • Experience with pediatric psychiatric emergency
  • Current BLS certification
  • Must be able to become certified in Safety Care, including the ability to move from seated to standing without assistance

Preferred Skills:

  • Eating Disorder Treatment Experience: Prior clinical experience with eating disorder populations (e.g., anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, ARFID) in inpatient, residential, or partial-hospitalization settings
  • Behavioral Health Background: Experience supporting patients with complex psychiatric, psychological, and medical needs
  • NG Tube Management: Competency with NG tube placement, monitoring, and maintenance; ability to support patients receiving enteral nutrition
  • Medical/Somatic Care Experience: Background in medical, med-surg, or acute care, including vital sign monitoring, refeeding protocols, and medical stabilization
  • Trauma-Informed, Patient-Centered Care: Ability to provide sensitive, consistent care with appropriate therapeutic boundaries
  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Effective teamwork with providers, dietitians, therapists, and support staff
  • Strong Communication Skills: Clear, compassionate communication with patients and families
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Comfort working in a structured yet dynamic clinical environment
  • Clinical Documentation Proficiency: Experience with EHR systems and accurate, timely documentation

Additional Information:

  • Client reserves the right to float or reassign personnel to other areas of practice within their clinical competence to fulfill the scheduled guaranteed hours and within thirty-five (35) miles of their originally assigned facility (unless otherwise agreed to in such Personnel’s individual assignment confirmation).
  • No RTO approved within the first two weeks of assignment
  • Medical and religious exemption requests from the seasonal influenza vaccination are allowed
