Registered Nurse (Pediatric Psychiatric)

Summary:

• Duration: 12 Weeks
• Shift: 12H Nights, 7:00PM-7:30AM
• 50-Mile Radius Rule Applies

Responsibilities:

• Float Requirement: Inpatient Psychiatric Unit, Psychiatric Emergency Department
• Weekend Requirement: Scheduled based on unit needs
• No On Call Requirement

Requirements:

• Education: BSN REQUIRED
• Previous travel experience highly preferred
• 2 years of Psych experience working with Pediatrics
• Certifications Required: BLS

Preferred Skills:

• Certifications Preferred: CPI – Management of Assaultive Behavior, PALS
• Experience with Autism/Intellectual Disabilities

Additional Notes:

• Client reserves the right to float or reassign personnel to other areas of practice within their clinical competence to fulfill the scheduled guaranteed hours and within thirty-five (35) miles of their originally assigned facility.
• No RTO approved within the first two weeks of the assignment.
• RTO not requested at the time of submission may not be approved.
• Medical and religious exemption requests from the seasonal influenza vaccination are allowed.
