Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a Pediatrics RN to join our healthcare team. Your primary function is to provide care for infants children and adolescents with an age range of 0-17 years. Care is provided to patients with a variety of medical-surgical diagnosis. You will work with a phenomenal team that cares like family and works together in a collaborative manner.

In this role you will

Demonstrate knowledge and application of the nursing process to infants children and adolescents.

Consult and coordinate with health care team members to assess plan implement and evaluate patient care plans.

Measure patients vital signs such as blood pressure breathing and heart rate and initiates corrective action whenever the patient displays adverse symptomatology.

Perform physical medical and diagnostic tests.

Prepare administer and record prescribed medications.

Reports adverse reactions to medications or treatments.

Assist treating physician during examination treatment and procedures.

Provide education information and support to the patients family.

Job Requirements

Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing Required

Bachelor Degree in Nursing preferred

Florida RN license andor approved multistate RN license required. Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation.

BLS-AHA Provider issued card required within 30 days of start

ACLS-American Heart Association ACLS Provider issued card required within 6 months

PALS-American Heart Association PALS Provider issued card required within 6 months

2 Years acute care pediatrics experience preferred
