Saratoga Medical is seeking a Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized nursing care for pediatric patients in a clinical healthcare setting. The selected candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care while collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure positive patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree, Associate Degree, or Diploma in Nursing from an accredited nursing program
  • Successful completion of the NCLEX examination
  • Current unrestricted RN license in at least one U.S. state, territory, or commonwealth
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification if required
  • Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification if required
  • Minimum of one (1) year of Pediatric Nursing experience within the preceding three (3) years
  • Ability to meet all credentialing and compliance requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients
  • Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
  • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as ordered
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Educate patients and family members regarding treatment plans, medications, and healthcare needs
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
  • Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition and emergency situations
  • Promote patient safety and quality standards of care
  • Participate in quality improvement and patient care initiatives
  • Perform additional nursing duties as assigned

Position Details:

  • Contract assignment
