The Performance Improvement (PI) Specialist supports evidence-based practice (EBP) initiatives, quality improvement (QI), performance improvement (PI), and data collection across a large, multi-facility healthcare network of up to 100 hospitals and 200 clinics. This position plays a key part in enhancing operational efficiency, strengthening clinical workflows, and helping facilities adopt and sustain systemwide best practices.
This position provides expertise in change management, guiding hospitals and clinics through transitions in practice standards, operational processes, and technology use. A major focus of the position includes electronic health records (EHR) registry development, maintenance, and performance reporting - ensuring accurate data capture, registry functionality, and actionable reporting for both clinical and operational leaders.
The Specialist will partner with regional and system-level leadership to drive measurable improvement, support EBP incentive programs, standardize care processes, and coach teams in using data to inform decisions. The position requires extensive travel to hospitals and clinics for on-site support, workflow assessments, and hands-on improvement work.
