Registered Nurse (PICU)

Summary:

• Location: Anschutz Medical Campus
• Duration: 13 Weeks
• Shift: 12H Rotating Days/Nights or 12H Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday, days or nights)
• On Call Requirement: None

Requirements:

• Education: BSN
• Licensure/Certification: Colorado RN license
• Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years in a comparable PICU as staff RN
  • Minimum 3 years if no previous travel experience
  • Experience caring for patients from birth to 21 years with various diagnoses
• Equipment Proficiency:
  • Trilogy & Drager ventilators
  • Codman ICP monitors
  • Medfusion syringe pumps
  • Baxter large volume IV pumps
• Certifications:
  • Required: BLS, PALS
  • Preferred: ACLS

Preferred Skills:

• Prefer 2 years staff experience
• 1 year travel experience in teaching facility PICU
