Schedule: Day | Full Time 4x9s. 1 day off weekly - Rotating shift start times: 5am-2:30pm, 5:30am-3pm, 6am-3:30pm, 9am-7:30pm.  No weekends, no holidays, and no call.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Deliver comprehensive preoperative patient care as a Pre-Operative Registered Nurse by conducting detailed assessments, ensuring readiness, and improving surgical outcomes through accurate clinical evaluation.
• Provide direct patient care by educating patients on surgical procedures, preparation steps, and recovery expectations, enhancing patient understanding, safety, and overall care coordination.
• Assess patient medical histories, medications, and health status using Electronic Health Records EHR systems to identify risks, support clinical decision-making, and ensure compliance standards.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members and physicians to arrange necessary preoperative testing, consultations, and clearances, optimizing surgical readiness and quality improvement outcomes.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

What additional preferences we're seeking

Preoperative RN experience a plus

2 + years of hospital or Outpatient Surgery Center RN experience
