Registered Nurse (PRN)

Griswold Home Care is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Northern Virginia team in a highly flexible PRN role.

This is a great opportunity for an RN who enjoys working independently and wants to use their clinical experience in a meaningful way without committing to a traditional full-time nursing schedule.

The role focuses primarily on client assessments, developing and updating Plans of Care, documentation, and clinical oversight for our non-medical home care clients.

What you’ll do:

• Conduct initial client assessments and periodic reassessments
• Develop and update care plans as needed
• Provide clinical oversight consistent with Virginia home care requirements
• Support caregiver competency and training needs
• Review changes in client condition and provide guidance when appropriate
• Complete required documentation and records
• Serve as a clinical resource to our office team

What we’re looking for:

• Current, unrestricted Virginia RN license
• Home care, home health, geriatric, senior care, or related experience preferred
• Strong assessment and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule
• Reliable, responsive, and well organized
• Comfortable communicating with clients, families, caregivers, and office staff
