
Clinical Manager / Quality Assurance Registered Nurse (RN) – Home Health Interim HealthCare

We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and patient-focused Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical Surgical/Telemetry team. Opportunities are available on a PRN, part-time, or full-time basis in both an acute care hospital and an acute inpatient rehabilitation hospital setting. The RN is responsible for delivering high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to adult patients with acute and chronic medical conditions requiring medical-surgical and telemetry monitoring.
The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote optimal patient outcomes.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for medical-surgical and telemetry patients.
Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry rhythms, reporting significant changes promptly.
Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies safely and accurately.
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document findings in the electronic medical record (EMR).
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition and initiate emergency interventions when necessary.
Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, rehabilitation goals, and discharge instructions.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
Promote patient safety by adhering to infection prevention, fall prevention, and quality improvement initiatives.
Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and patient care conferences.
Supervise and delegate appropriate responsibilities to Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), nursing assistants, and other support staff.
Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
Support a positive, respectful, and collaborative work environment.
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Strong assessment, critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
One (1) year or more of recent Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, Acute Care, or Rehabilitation nursing experience.
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR).
NIH Stroke Scale Certification (preferred depending on unit).
