Talented Medical Solutions is seeking an experienced and compassionate Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN – Psych) for a contract opportunity in Pierceton, Indiana. Position Overview

As a Psych RN, you'll be responsible for assessing, planning, and coordinating mental health care for patients in a structured facility. Your focus will be on creating a safe, therapeutic environment and supporting recovery through compassionate nursing care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychiatric assessments and support care planning

• Administer medications and monitor for side effects

• Respond to crisis situations with de-escalation techniques

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and care staff

Qualifications

• Active Indiana RN license (or willingness to obtain)

• Minimum of 1 year of recent psychiatric or behavioral health nursing experience

• Current BLS certification (required)

• CPI or similar crisis intervention certification (preferred or willing to obtain)

• Excellent communication, observation, and clinical judgment skills
