    Putnam Hospital a 164-bed acute care hospital has been serving the local community in Carmel New York for 60 years. Situated on a 150-acre wooded campus surrounded by lakes and waterways we provide the essential services a community needs from their local hospital including Emergency and Behavioral Health Services.

    JOB SUMMARY

    Develops and maintains an environment which supports service excellence behaviors.

    Provides a safe environment for patients visitors andor employees by being aware of the safety and health policies of the hospital and adhering to and enhancing these policies via the identificationreportingcorrecting of unsafe conditions.

    Complies with established departmenthospital policies rules and regulations.

    Demonstrates the knowledge and judgment needed to utilize the nursing process to assess plan implement and evaluate each patients nursing care.

    Demonstrates respect for the rights of all patients and provides considerate respectful care focused on each patients individual needs.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    Education

    Graduate from an accredited nursing program.

    LicensureRegistrationCertification

    Currently licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse inNew YorkState. BLS required
