Aura Search Group is seeking an experienced Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) for a 26-week contract in Medford, Massachusetts. This position offers the flexibility of PRN-style scheduling while providing a consistent contract assignment.
Responsibilities
Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients in a behavioral health setting.
Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Respond appropriately to behavioral health emergencies and changes in patient condition.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary treatment team to ensure safe, effective patient care.
Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.
Practice independently and confidently, including working as the sole RN on duty when required.
Requirements
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum 2 years of RN experience
Previous psychiatric or behavioral health experience preferred
Must be comfortable working independently as the only nurse on shift
Current BLS certification
Strong communication, assessment, and critical thinking skills
