Position Overview:
Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to fill openings with a skilled care facility located in Queens, New York. This full-time position in long-term care is ideal for a dedicated RN with nursing home experience who is passionate about providing quality care to residents in a skilled care setting.

- Work Schedule: Full-time position, 5 days per week, including every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday). The schedule is not permanent, and available shifts and schedules may change or be adjusted based on the facility's current operational, staffing, and business needs.

Qualifications:
- Education: Must have an active license and current registration as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State.
- Licensure: Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- Experience: Must have at least two (2) years of experience in a nursing home setting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in medication administration, wound care, vital signs monitoring, care plan development, and documentation using electronic or paper systems.
- Credentialing Requirements:
- RN Certificate
- Passport or Green Card and SSN Card
- COVID Vaccination Card
- MMRV Results (Mumps, Measles, Rubella, and Varicella)
- Physical Assessment
- Application Paperwork (NYS Vets 4 forms)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to residents under the supervision of physicians and in accordance with facility policies and state regulations.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and adherence to safety protocols.
- Monitor and document residents' vital signs, symptoms, and overall condition, reporting any changes to the physician or interdisciplinary team.
- Collaborate with RNs, LPNs, physicians, and therapists to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and mobility as needed.
- Ensure compliance with infection control and facility protocols.
- Respond to emergencies and provide timely interventions.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
- Supervise and assist LPNs and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to ensure quality resident care.
- Participate in care planning meetings and contribute to the development of individualized care plans.
