Powell 4 is a 19 bed Medical Neurology and Epilepsy Monitoring unit specializing in Stroke, Seizure disorders and other neurology disorders. We are Primary Stroke Center Certified and have one of Central Iowas only Epilepsy monitoring units. Responsibilities Applications are accepted year round but we encourage you to apply during your last semester of nursing school. Start dates are dependent on licensure, onboarding unit availability as well as your personal preference.
All newly licensed RNs with less than six months of acute RN experience at the time of application are required to participate in the RN Residency program. Newly licensed nurses must apply for Registered Nurse Residency.
