Pay: $50/hourLocation: High Desert Area, CaliforniaSchedule: Independent Contract work / FlexiblePosition OverviewWe are seeking a compassionate and dependable Registered Nurse (RN) to provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes throughout the High Desert area as an Independant Contracter.Responsibilities
- Perform PICC line dressing changes and central-line assessments.
- Perform lab draws and specimen collection as ordered.
- Provide G-tube teaching and hands-on education to patients and caregivers.
- Assess patient condition and report changes to the appropriate healthcare provider.
- Educate patients and families regarding medications, treatments, and care plans.
- Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation.
- Follow infection-control practices, physician orders, and home health standards.
- Provide professional, compassionate care in the patient's home.
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted California RN license.
- Previous home health or community nursing experience preferred.
- Experience with PICC care, venipuncture/lab draws, and G-tube care and teaching preferred.
- Ability to work independently and travel to patient homes throughout the High Desert.
- Strong communication, assessment, and documentation skills.
