Job Summary

:

Responsible for providing direct patient care. The Registered Nurses responsibilities include but are not limited to utilization of the nursing process in the provision of care, excellent customer service skills and communication skills, flexibility, quality improvement activities and professional growth. Patient Services include, but are not limited to, outpatient surgery cases, AM admissions for surgery, myelograms, colonoscopy with anesthesia sedation, CT scans with guided needle biopsy and outpatient ECT's.

Education

Minimum:

Graduate of a Registered Nurse Program

Preferred:

Bachelor Degree in Nursing

Registration/Certifi cation/Licensure

:

Current PA RN license, Healthcare Provider CPR and Act 33/73 clearances. PEARS required within one year of hire/transfer.

Experience

Minimum: Three years recent Med-Surg nursing

Preferred:

IV and phlebotomy skills
