    Southern California-Los Angeles

    Registered Nurse-Acute Care Hospital

    Most Acute Care units incl.-M/S, ICUs, ER, OR, L&D, Onc, PACU, Neuro, Cardiac, Tele, OR, Ortho, Cath Lab, NICU, SDU, PICU, etc.

    Full time, long term

    Pay rate start at approx $54/Hr USD for 1 yr experience
          Shift diffs-$4/hr Evenings
                         $7/hr Nights

          (No new grads or RNs without current experience will be considered.  (Please see our job posting for New Grad Residency Program for New Grad RN       and return to practice RN option))

    Minimum 1 year current acute care hospital experience on unit for which applying

    • The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for the nursing process and the delivery of patient care.
    • The RN makes clinical judgments and carries out related nursing interventions using the nursing process without supervision.
    • Applies clinical knowledge regarding standards of care to consolidate interventions for time and cost savings.
    • Demonstrates knowledge of regulatory requirements in patient assignment making delegation of tasks, documentation.
    • Coordinates care for the patient and delivery team.
    • Demonstrates a commitment to customer service and an ability to meet the needs and expectation of patients and health care colleagues.

    Ongoing support & assistance for nurses during relocation process

     

    Assistance establishing U.S. credit history and setting up U.S. bank accounts

     

    Assistance in buying or leasing a vehicle in U.S. with no U.S. credit history

     

    Ongoing support for nurses throughout their employment

     

    Assistance with renewal of work authorization and documentation when needed

     



    Requirements


    • *Minimum 1 year current acute care experience as a fully licensed RN

    • Current Canadian passport, United States passport or valid Green Card

    • Fully vaccinated against COVID with approved vaccine

    • NCLEX-RN (We will help with California license)

    • Eligible for California RN license

    • VisaScreen-If you have not done so, please apply for the VisaScreen at www.cgfns.org

      • VisaScreen must be in progress prior to hospital interview

    • Bachelors degree in Nursing

    • BLS

    • ACLS, PALS, NRP, FHR, TNCC, NIHSS etc depending on unit


    To qualify for and apply for a California RN license you must have already passed the NCLEX-RN and had clinical rotations in nursing school in psych, pediatrics and obstetrics. Work experience in these areas is not considered and you will be denied a California RN license without these clinical rotations during your nursing school education.  Some nursing schools offer a consolidated program which automatically includes these rotations.  If you are not sure if you meet this requirement, please contact us to discuss.
