Job Description
Title: Behavioral Health RN - Acute Adult Psychiatric Unit
Schedule:
- Work 1 weekend (Saturday & Sunday) every 2 weeks.
Assignment Details:

Requirements:
- License: Oregon RN license required
- Experience: Minimum 1 year inpatient behavioral health (acute care) experience
- Certifications: CPR (BLS) prior to start; PMAB must be completed before starting on unit
- EMR: Epic required
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on patient care and manage acute psychiatric symptoms.
- Implement seclusion and restraint protocols as necessary.
- Engage in milieu management, crisis intervention, and de-escalation techniques.
- Administer medications and possess basic medical skills (IV/foley/NG/feeding tube).
- Manage patient behavior in high-acuity settings, including locked units.
Compliance / Notes:
- Must commit to working 3 of the following 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day.
- Compliance documents required: SSN, DOB, 2 references, background check clearance.
- Up to 6 total days (or 3 consecutive days) of RTO auto-approved, with additional days requiring approval.
- Must indicate any prior employment with the facility, including dates.
