Job Details

We are hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for an Adult Residential Services program in Essex County, NJ. This is a strong opportunity for an RN seeking a more structured, daytime role outside of a traditional bedside hospital setting.

The position is based in a low-acuity residential environment supporting adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities. The RN will play an important role in care coordination, clinical oversight, communication, and helping ensure residents receive appropriate ongoing support.

What You’ll Do
Provide nursing oversight within an Adult Residential Services setting
Support care planning, care coordination, and clinical follow-up for residents
Monitor resident status and help ensure appropriate interventions and communication
Work closely with staff, families, and outside providers as needed
Help maintain documentation, organization, and compliance with care standards
Support a stable, team-based environment focused on continuity of care

What We’re Looking For
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Nursing experience in residential services, developmental disabilities, behavioral health, long-term care, community health, or a related setting is a plus
Strong communication and documentation skills
Comfortable in a lower-acuity, non-bedside environment
Organized, dependable, and able to work well with interdisciplinary teams

Compensation around $90,000 annually for full-time equivalent, depending on experience and schedule
