Qualifications
Active Connecticut RN license (or qualifying multistate license) required
2+ years of RN experience required (BSN may substitute for 1 year)
Behavioral health / psychiatric hospital experience preferred
Experience serving youth/adolescents with complex psychiatric profiles preferred
Strong communication, assessment, medication knowledge, and documentation skills
Ability to work in an environment that may include lifting/restraining individuals and exposure to challenging behaviors

Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, including admission and discharge assessments and plans for continuing care
Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing and health care plans; manage an assigned caseload/clinical workload
Provide direct patient care and nursing consultation within assigned programs/specialty areas
Administer medications per policy; maintain records for secured medications and controlled substances
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and prepare required reports
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in treatment planning and evaluation
Participate in therapeutic interventions as appropriate (individual/group/family support)
Support crisis intervention activities and follow safety procedures in a behavioral health environment

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:45 PM–11:15 PM (No weekends) • 40 hrs/week (OT possible)
Pay $60 - $65/hr
