Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various nursing specialties, including occupational health, home care, and senior care. Responsibilities:
- Assess and monitor patients' health status, including vital signs and symptoms.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Perform venipuncture and other necessary procedures with precision.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs.
- Provide acute pain management strategies to enhance patient comfort.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate medical records using Athenahealth or similar electronic health record systems.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and protocols to promote safety and quality of care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Stay updated on advancements in nursing practices, including esthetic laser treatment techniques.
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to nursing practice.
- Experience in occupational health, home care, or senior care is preferred.
- Proficiency in performing venipuncture and managing acute pain situations.
- Ability to ventilate patients effectively when required in emergency situations.
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient education and teamwork.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.
- Previous experience with electronic health records systems such as Athenahealth is a plus.
