Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Cath Lab
Department: Heart and Vascular

Shift: Day Shift
Schedule: 5 Days/Week | 8 Hours/Day | 40 Hours/Week

Important Notes

  • Manager will review resumes and conduct interviews.
  • Cardiac Cath Lab / Prep Recovery position.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience required.
  • On-call required: 4 weekdays and one weekend (Friday–Sunday).
  • One weekend on-call required per month.
  • One summer and one winter holiday on-call shift required.
  • No floating required.
  • Scrubs provided by the hospital.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN).
  • New Jersey State Professional Registered Nurse License or Multi-State Compact RN License.
  • AHA BLS Certification.
  • AHA ACLS Certification.
  • Telemetry.
  • Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
  • Critical Care experience.
  • Prior experience with EPIC and Sensis.

Required Skills
Circulating Nurse, EPIC, Mac-LAB, Impella, Balloon Pump, PCI, Right Heart Cath, Left Heart Cath.

Preferred Skills
EP Experience, Circulation During Pacemaker Insertion Experience, Pulmonary Embolism Case Experience, Critical Care Experience, Sensis.

Job Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care.
  • Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs.
  • Identify patient needs and determine priorities through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
  • Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care through initial and ongoing assessments.
  • Initiate assessments based on patient needs, physician diagnosis, and functional health framework.
  • Perform therapeutic nursing interventions.
  • Manage patient care.
  • Document care based on standards of practice, patient acuity, and clinical priorities.
  • Advocate for evidence-based practice and support innovations in care delivery.
  • Provide patient-centric care aligned with the professional nursing practice model.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
