Registered Nurse (RN) – Clinical Quality & Home Health | Western PA

Overview

Our client is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join their extraordinary care team in Western Pennsylvania. This full‑time role focuses on the management and delivery of patient care plans, clinical documentation, and quality oversight while supporting patients across local communities. The position requires local travel, weekend on‑call availability, and strong self‑management skills.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must meet ALL of the following:

Education

• Associate degree or higher in Nursing

Experience

• 1+ year of experience in ANY of the following:
  • Clinical Documentation
  • Clinical Informatics
  • Clinical Quality
• 1+ year of experience in ANY of the following:
  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
  • Other EMR systems
  • Practice Partner EMR

Licensure & Certifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania (PA)
• ALL of the following valid certifications:
  • American Red Cross Advanced Life Support (ARC ALS)
  • American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA ACLS)

Additional Requirements

• Comfortable with the required travel for this position

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and collaborate on the management and delivery of patient care plans
• Support patients throughout Western PA and surrounding areas
• Spend approximately 20% of the day driving to and from patient locations
• Consistently meet critical deadlines for charting and documentation
• Self‑manage time, schedule, and daily workflow
• Maintain compliance with clinical quality standards and EMR documentation requirements

Schedule & Shift Details

• 8 units (approximately 8 patients) on Saturday and Sunday
• On‑call: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 5 PM – 10 PM
• Full‑time role with weekend and on‑call rotation

Travel Requirements

• Local travel required across Western Pennsylvania
• Daily driving to patient homes and community locations
