    Travel Registered Nurse (RN)- Community Health (Days)
    Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN)- Community Health for a 13-week travel assignment in Pittsfield, MA.


    Contract Details
    • Days 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM 8hr Days 40hr gt
    • Start Date: 8/17/2026
    • Contract: 13 Weeks
    • Location:Pittsfield, MA
    • Hourly Pay: $ 44.00
    • Non-taxed Stipend: $ 1246.00
    • Weekly Total Pay: $ 2566.00
    • Weekend Requirements: Required to work every third weekend and 1-2 holidays/Holiday coverage required as needed
    • Non-Billable Orientation: 8hrs

    The Community Health Nurse (CHN) provides, teaches, supervises and documents nursing care of the sick and injured at home.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Monitor the mother and baby's vital signs throughout labor and delivery
    • Administer medications and pain relief as required
    • Provide education and emotional support to the mother and family
    • Assist with labor-inducing procedures and techniques
    • Prepare and maintain delivery rooms and equipment
    • Assist obstetricians and midwives during delivery
    • Perform postpartum care and monitor recovery
    • Recognize and respond to complications or emergencies
    • Document medical records and update patient charts
    • Educate new mothers on newborn care practices

    Compensation:

    • Weekly Pay (hourly) + Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible)
    • Pay package details provided upon offer

    Requirements


    Minimum Requirements:
    • Must have at least one year acute nursing care [required], hospital based preferred.
    • Experience in home health [Required]
    • Certified Home Health Required Including Proficiency with OASIS
    • Infusion Therapy Certification is preferred
    • Demonstrated knowledge of the principles and practices of nursing.
    • Knowledge of and ability to apply community health principles and practice.
    • Demonstrated ability to perform independently as a clinician with minimal supervision or assistance.
    • Experience with self-scheduling of caseload preferred.
    • History of flexibility in assuming varied assignments.
    • BSN is highly preferred
    • Current Driver License (and insurance) is required
    • In order to effectively provide home care, they must have a working knowledge of home care reimbursement and regulatory guidelines.
    • Ability to exercise independent judgement.
    • Demonstrated interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to supervise others
    • Ability to maintain confidential information
    • Ability to develop and maintain records and communicate clinical data in verbal and written form
    • Willing to be flexible regarding work hours.
    • Ability to drive an automobile in inclement weather.
    • Must be willing to accept “on call” responsibilities.
    • Conforms with Customer Service and Performance Standards.
    • Conforms with Patient’s Rights Policy.
    • History of dependability in meeting demands of committed work schedule.
    • Massachusetts State License is required
    • Must have and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association during employment
    • Excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently.
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
    • Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
    • Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability
