Pay Rate: $65 to $70/hr
Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - CVOR
Location: Detroit, MI 48236
Type: Contract
Shift: 6am-2:30pm, 6am-4:30pm, or 6am-6:30pm, There is an option for five 8's, four 10's, or three 12's with a 6am start time. 48 hours of call in a 6-week schedule period required.
Block Schedule: Yes
On-Call: Yes (48 hours of call per six week schedule. Must be available 1 weekend per month)

Job Summary:
- Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.
- Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.
- Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team.
- Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.
- Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the unit/department to which staff is assigned.
- Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
- OR experience, Cardiac Scrub experience.
- BLS & ACLS certifications from AHA.
- Current active MI RN license.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN).
