Registered Nurse (RN) – Day Program

Position Overview
Bond Health is currently hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time Day Program opportunity.
This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse who is passionate about supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a non-clinical, community-based setting. The RN will oversee health services, provide staff education, maintain compliance with applicable regulations, and help promote the overall health, safety, and well-being of the individuals supported.
Schedule:
Monday – Friday | 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Maintain accurate medical records and health documentation.
- Communicate important health information to staff, families, and members of the interdisciplinary team.
- Train staff in OSHA standards, First Aid, medication support, and health and safety procedures.
- Perform nursing assessments, evaluations, and therapeutic interventions in accordance with professional nursing standards and applicable regulations.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and annual reviews.
- Supervise Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), AMAP staff, and other direct care personnel as appropriate.
- Promote a safe, healthy, and person-centered environment for all individuals served.
- Provide nursing oversight for multiple Day Program locations as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current CPR certification required (or willingness to obtain certification).
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams and supervise clinical support staff.
