Hospital Nurses — Your Experience Transfers.

The clinical skills you've developed in acute care are valuable here.

You'll assess changes in condition, administer medications and treatments, communicate with physicians, coordinate care, lead nursing staff, and use your clinical judgment every shift.

But there's another side to nursing here.

You get to know the people you're caring for.

You learn their baseline.

You build relationships with their families.

You recognize when something isn't quite right because you actually know the resident.

And you have the opportunity to see the impact of your nursing care over time.

‍️ Your Role as an RN

As a Day Shift RN, you'll provide skilled nursing care while serving as a clinical leader for residents and the nursing team.

You'll work closely with LPNs, CNAs, physicians, therapy, and other interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, compassionate, high-quality care.

  • Promote resident safety, dignity, comfort, and quality of life
  • Ensure compliance with applicable clinical and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

  • Current Alabama Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Compassionate, resident-centered approach
  • Ability to provide leadership and support to the nursing team
  • Acute care, rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or long-term care experience preferred
  • Hospital RNs interested in a different nursing environment are encouraged to apply

Maybe It's Not Nursing You're Ready to Leave.

Maybe it's the environment.

Come work somewhere people know your name.

Come work alongside employees who have chosen to stay.

Come somewhere leadership knows what's happening in the building.

Come somewhere an Administrator genuinely cares about the people caring for residents.

Same 12-hour schedule. Different culture.

Come see Columbiana.
