Novus Adult Care Services (NovusACS) is seeking a compassionate and skilled full-time Registered Nurse - RN to join our healthcare team in Doylestown, PA. The Registered Nurse - RN will work a rotating Saturday schedule and will provide services at any assigned NovusACS location as needed.YOUR DAY-TO-DAY AS OUR REGISTERED NURSE - RNAs a Registered Nurse - RN, you will provide patient-centered healthcare focused on infectious diseases, STD testing and treatment, HIV care, prevention, and education. You will conduct patient assessments, review medical histories, obtain vital signs, prepare patients for examinations and therapies, and assist Nurse Practitioners during examinations as needed. You will administer and process testing, perform phlebotomy and specimen collection, administer injections, medications, and treatment therapies, and ensure all testing and treatment protocols are followed. You will educate patients about the prevention, transmission, and treatment of infectious diseases and STDs while counseling individuals on STD and HIV risk reduction, partner notification, and healthy practices.You will provide guidance and emotional support to patients with positive test results and contact patients regarding treatment needs when applicable. Throughout the day, you will maintain complete and accurate patient records within the EMR system, reconcile laboratory testing with Quest, Labcorp, and CDD, assist with Department of Health reporting requirements, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and HIV Confidentiality Law requirements.
