Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department
Location: Reed City, MI
Duration: 13 weeks contract (possibility of extension)
Schedule Notes: 19:00 – 07:00 (3*12) hours shift, Weekend rotation: Every Third.
**Non-Taxable Per Diem is provided to the qualified candidate living more than 50 miles from the facility**
Duties:
- Responsible for assessing incoming patients' conditions upon arrival to prioritize care based on the severity of their injury or illness.
- They must immediately initiate interventions to stabilize patients, including initiating CPR, providing Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), managing airways, and stopping hemorrhages.
- Execute physician orders, which include administering medications (IV, oral, injections), starting intravenous (IV) lines, drawing blood, and providing wound care.
- Monitor vital signs and patient status throughout their stay, ensuring that changes in condition—particularly for patients in the waiting area—are recognized and acted upon immediately.
Education:
- Associate's Degree or Nursing or Bachelor's Degree.
