Registered Nurse (RN) – Float Pool

Location: Cincinnati, OH

Duration: 8 Weeks

Shift: 3x12 Nights

Job Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Float Pool assignment. The RN will provide high-quality patient care across multiple units while utilizing critical thinking, clinical judgment, and evidence-based nursing practices. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, patient-focused, and capable of working in diverse clinical environments.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Ohio RN License or Compact RN License

  • Current BLS Certification (AHA)

  • Diploma in Nursing Required

  • BSN Preferred

  • Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced acute care environment

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

Assessment

  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments

  • Identify actual and potential patient care needs

  • Monitor patient conditions and report significant changes

  • Communicate effectively with healthcare team members

  • Assess patients and environments for safety risks

Planning & Care Coordination

  • Develop individualized patient care plans

  • Establish measurable patient goals

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams

  • Participate in shift reports and care conferences

  • Initiate discharge planning and appropriate referrals

Implementation

  • Deliver evidence-based nursing care

  • Administer treatments and medications as ordered

  • Provide patient and family education

  • Review physician orders and coordinate care

  • Respond appropriately to emergency situations

  • Maintain infection prevention and safety standards

Evaluation

  • Evaluate patient outcomes and effectiveness of care plans

  • Modify plans of care based on patient progress

  • Ensure compliance with evidence-based practice standards

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
