Position Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing and supervising the delivery of high-quality nursing care to residents in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, as well as the organization’s established policies and procedures. The RN serves as a clinical leader on the shift, ensuring residents receive compassionate, individualized care while supporting and mentoring nursing team members.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct nursing care to residents, including assessments, medication administration, treatments, and care planning
  • Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes appropriately to physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members
  • Support CNAs and other nursing team members during assigned shifts
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
  • Respond effectively to emergencies and changes in resident condition
  • Collaborate with therapy, dietary, social services, and other departments to provide holistic resident care
  • Maintain compliance with all state, federal, and company regulations and standards
  • Promote a positive, team-focused environment centered around exceptional customer service and resident satisfaction
  • Participate in care conferences, quality improvement initiatives, and ongoing training and education


Qualifications

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Nebraska (or compact state licensure)
  • Previous long-term care, skilled nursing, rehab, or healthcare experience preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
