Job Description
A health services network in California is looking to boost its Residential Care staff with the addition of a new, licensed Registered Nurse (RN).
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day shift
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 9am tp 5pm
- Setting: Residential care
Responsibilities:
- Assess residents regularly and monitor changes in condition
- Develop, implement, and update nursing and healthcare plans
- Provide direct nursing care and clinical oversight within the home
- Coordinate with physicians, specialists, pharmacies, and interdisciplinary team members
- Maintain accurate documentation, medication records, and compliance updates
- Support and supervise LVNs and Direct Support Professionals as needed
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of Nursing experience
- Current Registered Nurse license
- BLS certification
- Experience working with adults with mental and/or physical disabilities
- G-tube experience
Desired Skills:
- Supervisory experience
- Experience with developmental disabilities and person-centered care
- Experience managing chronic medical conditions and specialized healthcare needs
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a residential care environment
