    A Brief Overview

    Provides clinical leadership and coordination for immunization clinics while actively participating in the administration of vaccines. Serves as the onsite clinic lead, coordinating staff, workflow, supplies, documentation, and communication to support safe, efficient, and successful immunization clinics.

    What you will do

    • Leads and coordinates day-to-day operations of assigned immunization clinics, including clinic setup, workflow, staff assignments, and completion of clinic activities.
    • Provides direction and support to PRN nursing staff throughout the clinic and serves as the primary onsite clinical resource.
    • Administers immunizations in accordance with established nursing practice, organizational policies, and applicable regulatory requirements.
    • Ensures appropriate screening, vaccine administration, documentation, and follow-up are completed according to established procedures.
    • Observes, documents, and reports patient reactions to immunizations and provides appropriate nursing intervention when necessary.
    • Ensures appropriate vaccine and clinic supplies are available and maintains required inventory, including preparation of supply needs for upcoming clinics.
    • Maintains appropriate vaccine storage, handling and temperature requirements throughout clinic operations.
    • Promotes consistent communication between clinic staff, pharmacy team members, facility staff, and other involved departments
    • Ensures clinic documentation and required records are complete and assists with reconciliation and follow-up after each clinic.
    • Travels with team to owned, managed, and/or contracted facilities as needed to support immunization clinics.

    Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:

    • Registered Nurse (RN) - Board of Nursing Active license in the state of practice Upon Hire

    Preferred Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:

    • 1-3 years nursing experience; immunization, clinic coordination, or leadership experience
