Where You Will Work:
The Piedmont Joint Camp is a 24 bed orthopedic post operative unit specializing in the recovery and rehabilitation of patients undergoing total joint replacement surgeries. Team members provide high quality, patient centered care focused on pain management, mobility, education, and safe discharge planning. Staff collaborate closely with surgeons, physical therapists, case managers, and nursing leadership to ensure consistent clinical excellence and an exceptional patient experience. Responsibilities include monitoring post operative status, managing surgical drains and dressings, supporting early ambulation, educating patients and families on recovery expectations, and maintaining a safe, encouraging environment that promotes optimal healing and independence.
